Sensitized Person for Hydrogen Vehicles (HyV 0)

You are trained to identify vehicles with hydrogen propulsion systems as such, to recognize potential sources of danger and to act accordingly. Admission requirement: The admission requirements for a qualification for work on vehicles with hydrogen propulsion systems depend essentially on the area in which is to be worked on and on the activities to be carried out. Learning goals: • Identification features of hydrogen vehicles and test benches/rigs with hydrogen gas systems • Hazards due to flammable gases • Hazards due to pressurized gases • Qualification levels required for working on hydrogen gas systems • Organization of safe working • Vehicle-specific characteristics of a hydrogen vehicle Final exam: Qualification "Driving & Operating hydrogen vehicles” Driving, refueling, parking, and operating within the scope of the "Living" vehicle condition Certificate This qualification allows for the designation by the employer Duration: 1 TU (45 min)

HyV-2.png

Qualified Person for Hydrogen Vehicles – Level I (HyV 2)

You are trained to independently carry out specified work on parts in an inert and depressurized gas system on the basis of work, repair and assembly instructions and risk assessments. Admission requirement: HyV 1 Learning goals: • How the gas system works • Legal basis for working on vehicles with gas propulsion systems • Safety-relevant properties of gases • Gas markings, test and approval numbers • Connection techniques, requirements and safe assembly • Assembly, testing and repair work on gas systems • Use of gas measuring instruments • Depressurization, Emptying, inerting and filling gas systems • Execution of specified activities • Basic principles and measures for explosion protection • Basic principles of visual, leak and functional testing of the gas system • Basics of troubleshooting for gas systems • Sources of danger, characteristics of hazardous situations when working on gas systems • Protective measures when working on gas systems Final exam: Qualification to work on hydrogen vehicles in the depressurized and at the same time inert state of the FCS/hydrogen aggregate or the hydrogen supply system Certificate This qualification allows for the designation by the employer Duration: 3 days

HyV-1-angepasst.png

Qualified Instructed Person for Hydrogen Vehicles (HyV 1)

You are trained to carry out specified activities, know the hazards involved and implement the resulting protective measures. Admission requirement: HyV 0 Learning goals: • Inadmissibility of work on the gas system • Identification of vehicles with gas system • Identification of parts of the gas system • Basic functions of components/safety devices of gas systems • Protective measures when working in the immediate vicinity of gas systems • Persons to contact in case of uncertainty • Identification of hazardous situations • Behavior in the event of danger Final exam: Qualification to perform common maintenance on a hydrogen production vehicle. All work except that which may affect the FCS/hydrogen aggregate and hydrogen supply system Certificate This qualification allows for the designation by the employer Duration: 1 day

HyV-3-angepasst.png

Qualified Person Hydrogen Vehicles – Level II (HyV3)

You are trained to independently carry out specified work on parts in contact with hydrogen on the basis of work, repair and assembly instructions and risk assessments. You will learn to recognize possible hazards and to take appropriate protective measures. Furthermore you will be enabled to participate in risk assessments, the preparation of work instructions and the implementation of briefings. Admission requirement: HyV 2 Learning goals: • Legal bases (laws, ordinances, rules, guidelines and information) • Design of gas systems on hydrogen vehicles • Repair and maintenance work on gas systems • Test work after construction, conversion and repair of pre-production gas systems • Evaluation and approval of pre-production gas systems including measurement technology • Introduction to preparing risk assessments • Protective measures in workshops/test benches (technical/organizational/person-related) • Introduction to the preparation of work and test instructions for specified activities. Final exam: Qualification to work on hydrogen vehicles on the hydrogen propulsion system, hydrogen modules or the hydrogen supply system Certificate This qualification allows for the designation by the employer Duration: 3 days
